Crease Blender Brush E02-RL

THE FINE DETAILS

The E02-RL is a classically shaped eyeshadow brush that everybody needs, wants, or has in their brush collection - but the E02 does it better with its smooth, soft bristles, resiliency, and perfect size. It’s kind of like the difference between you on a regular day, and you on a day when you didn’t wake up already tired, with your hair doing that thing you love, and having remembered your AUX cord so you could bump some Lizzo and live your best life. It’s just that much more enjoyable.

What makes it that much better is the process by which all of our brushes are shaped. Typically, the bristles of a brush are cut into the desired shape. However, the part of the bristle being trimmed off is the softest part that is best for blending! Our Bristles Beauty brushes aren’t trimmed; they’re hand-shaped using a special process with wooden moulds by Japanese artisans. So the soft tip is left on, and it creates the highest performing brush you’ll ever use.

The softly rounded shape of the top of the E02 makes it perfect for use anywhere across the eyelid, and ideal for the outer-V and adding dimension where needed.  It’s especially perfect at blending out the crease beautifully. You’ll be mesmerized by the velvety ease you’ll experience when blowing out shades or blending them together. The slimmer profile of the E02 is what makes it fit so dreamily into the hollows of the eyes. And the density of the brush makes it the perfect candidate for placing or packing on eyeshadow wherever you need it before blending with the E02 itself or with the larger E01.

USE ME

On the eyes: 

• Pick up eye shadow with the flatter face of the brush and place it on the desired spot of the eyelid using patting motions, then use the rounded top to blend out the shadow with windshield wiper or small circular motions.
• For use in the crease, load your eye shadow on the rounded top of the brush before holding the brush horizontally to the ground and tucking the rounded tip into the crease, blending back and forth with the shape of your crease until the desired depth of the shadow is achieved.
• To add definition and depth to the eyes, use the E02 to add a deeper shade of shadow onto the outer “V” of the eyes with the rounded top, and then blend out and slightly up toward the temples.

 On the face:

• Use the E02 to add a soft contour to the nose, or to blend out and soften an existing nose contour (even cream!).

Most importantly, remember that makeup isn't moderated, and that you are your own beauty boss. Use the brush however you see fit: whatever feels right to you and makes you feel the most beautiful.

The best way to take care of your brushes is to use them. No seriously: unused brushes can become more brittle and start to shed. Using and caring for them daily will make them last the longest. To make your brushes last: 

ON THE DAILY

• After using your brushes in powder, lightly tap off any remaining product. If you can still see some remaining in the bristles, gently clean the brush with a soft, dry tissue or soft cloth, doing your best not to rub the bristles harshly. 
• After using your brushes in liquid or cream, gently swipe off any excess product onto the back of your hand. If you still feel more product remains, use a soft tissue or cloth to very gently pat and squeeze the product from the brush, starting at the metal ferrule and working toward the tip of the brush. Once you feel a sufficient amount of product has been removed, use your fingers to gently ensure the brush is back to its original shape.

FOR A DEEPER CLEAN

There's no true rule for how often you should wash your brushes. If you're seeing excess amounts of product build-up, clumps or beads of makeup in the bristles, or the brush isn't performing as it typically does, it's time to wash your brush. An "off" smell is also a dead giveaway.

• Grab an unscented soap or brush shampoo. Use lukewarm water to wet the bristles, then create a foam with the soap and lukewarm water in the palm of your hand. Gently clean the brush in the palm of your hand using gentle circular motions before rinsing away the soap. 
• Gently squeeze the excess water out of the brush and repeat the process until the water running out of the brush is clear and free of makeup. When squeezing the brush, start from the metal ferrule and move upwards toward the tips of the bristles. Once all of the excess water is out of the brush, use a clean towel to gently press the bristles and further remove the water.
• Once the brush is just damp, use your fingers to gently reshape the brush into its original shape. Lay the brush flat in away from heat and direct sunlight to dry.

Note: it's recommended to avoid using alcohol to clean brushes as much as you can; it dries them out and makes them brittle!

Residents of U.S.A. and Canada receive FREE 14-day returns.

Unfortunately at this time we only provide free returns for residents of the U.S. or Canada. International returns outside of the U.S. or Canada are required to pay for their own return shipping fees.
