How do I change the currency so I see my currency?

In the top right-hand corner before the cart, hit the button that says "CAD $" or "USD $", etc., and select the currency you wish to shop in! Even if your country's currency is not available, you will still be able to shop. CAD is the default.

I made a mistake in my order! What should I do?

No problemo, it happens to the best of us! Just send us an email ASAP to hello@bristlesbeauty.com with your order number and details about the sitch and we'd be happy to help.

What should I do if my order hasn't been delivered yet?

Double check the details in your Order Status to ensure your order has been shipped - there will be a tracking number if it has been shipped. In your tracking information, check the details of the parcel, since it will tell you if the parcel was "Delivered", left with your concierge, taken to your local post office, etc. If your tracking information says "Delivered" but you have yet to receive your parcel, please wait 24 hours, and if it still has not arrived, send us an email at hello@bristlesbeauty.com.

Where are you located?

We're located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada! That is where our small business operation is; as of yet, we do not have any physical retail locations.

Are you sold in any stores?

We are only sold online on this very website. No physical stores yet!/p>

Who are Bri and Nie?

That's us! We started, own and operate Bristles Beauty. We're a passionate, hard-working, mother-daughter duo. You can read more about us and Bristles Beauty here .

What material are the bristles? (Are they natural/synthetic?)

Brushes E01-E03 and F08 are natural goat hair; E04 is natural horse hair; E05 is a horse and synthetic blend; P06 and P07 are synthetic; F09 is a goat and synthetic blend. All of our brushes contain only the highest quality bristles, which have been inspected, combed, vetted, and chosen for each brush.

Where are your brushes made?

Japan! Our brushes are made in Japan by Japanese artisans who have honed their fude making skills for many, many years.

What material are the brush handles?

The brush handles of our brushes are maple wood; we chose to keep our handles uncoloured, so the natural grain of the beautiful maple can be seen. They're coated, so you don't have to worry about wear and tear. Because they're natural wood, each and every brush handle has its own unique wood grain. Our brush handles are also FSC-Certified, responsibly sourced.

Do you make the brushes yourselves?

No! We wish we could be so talented. Our brushes are hand-crafted in Japan by practiced, professional artisans.

What makes your makeup brushes different than what's already out there?

SO glad you asked. Our brushes are all artisan-crafted in an 80-step, machine-less process, wherein the tips of the bristles are kept on. Other manufacturers cut the tips of the bristles off to shape them...but they're the softest part that makes the brush the best at blending! The manufacturing process of our brushes is truly special. But even beyond that, what makes us so special is that even with the highest quality, highest performing, most-sought-after-manufacturing-process, we choose to keep our prices low, without the typical markup that has become so standard for brushes of such quality (from 500 to even 3000%!). Because we believe that every makeup wearer deserves the best brushes, that don't break the bank.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

How long does shipping take?

Shipping duration will vary depending on where you live, of course, but in general for U.S. and Canadian orders it will only take 3-5 business days. For International orders, it takes longer, 5+ business days. Exceptions are largely rural areas, which may take longer. If you live in a metropolitan area, you will likely receive your package in sooner when you choose the Free or Standard Shipping option. Express Shipping takes 1-3 business days.

Where do you ship to?

We have expanded to shipping Worldwide! You can check your shipping rates in the cart once you've added items to your shopping cart.

What is your returns policy?

Returns and refunds are currently available to residents of the USA or Canada only. We offer free returns within 14-days of receiving your item(s). The brushes need to be unused and the plastic slip intact. For all of the details about returns, please click here.
