THE FINE DETAILS

Pencil this brush in, darlings. The shapely, sleek point of E05 glides like no other pencil brush. Just holding it will make you feel like the next great L.D. (Leonardo DaVinci...Or Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic sketching Kate Winslet, if you’re feeling frisky.) This brush says you don’t skimp on the details. This brush says, “Draw you like one of my French girls? Sure. But not before I glam myself UP.”

The pointed tip of the E05 ensures you’ll be able to glide on product with ease. The mix of natural horse and synthetic bristles make the application smooth and silky, no matter the type of product. Use the E05 with creams, gels, or powders for precise details or blending.

The E05 fits so snugly in the crease you’ll think that’s where it belongs. But don’t be fooled; you can also use it in the inner corner of the eyes, up against the lash lines, and under the brows. Adding sharper detail to the crease or pinpointing where you need a little extra sum’n sum’n has never been easier.

USE ME

On the eyes:

• Add precise definition to the crease by tucking the E05 into the crease and using soft, long strokes to add your chosen shadow. Build up colour by using shorter strokes.
• Highlight the inner corner of your eye by patting a light shadow on with the E05, then use the tip of the brush to lightly blend the edges.
• Add a pop of highlight under your brow using soft strokes and blending with the tip of the E05.
• Get softly defined liner by tucking the E05 against the lash line and using light strokes against the lashes, using mainly the tip of the brush to ensure you get the desired line shape and length. Use with shadows or creams.

On the face:

• Spot conceal textured pimples by using a clean E05 to pat concealer onto the spot; make sure to come at the spot from all angles to get the best coverage. Blend toward the center of the spot with upwards and downwards motions, as well as coming from the right and left. Since texture isn't flat, coming from different directions will ensure you're covering the spot's different levels. For larger pimples, use the P06 with the same method.

Most importantly, remember that makeup isn't moderated, and that you are your own beauty boss. Use the brush however you see fit: whatever feels right to you and makes you feel the most beautiful.

TOTALLY BIASED TIPS & TAKES

The best way to take care of your brushes is to use them. No seriously: unused brushes can become more brittle and start to shed. Using and caring for them daily will make them last the longest. To make your brushes last: 

ON THE DAILY

• After using your brushes in powder, lightly tap off any remaining product. If you can still see some remaining in the bristles, gently clean the brush with a soft, dry tissue or soft cloth, doing your best not to rub the bristles harshly. 
• After using your brushes in liquid or cream, gently swipe off any excess product onto the back of your hand. If you still feel more product remains, use a soft tissue or cloth to very gently pat and squeeze the product from the brush, starting at the metal ferrule and working toward the tip of the brush. Once you feel a sufficient amount of product has been removed, use your fingers to gently ensure the brush is back to its original shape.

FOR A DEEPER CLEAN

There's no true rule for how often you should wash your brushes. If you're seeing excess amounts of product build-up, clumps or beads of makeup in the bristles, or the brush isn't performing as it typically does, it's time to wash your brush. An "off" smell is also a dead giveaway.

• Grab an unscented soap or brush shampoo. Use lukewarm water to wet the bristles, then create a foam with the soap and lukewarm water in the palm of your hand. Gently clean the brush in the palm of your hand using gentle circular motions before rinsing away the soap. 
• Gently squeeze the excess water out of the brush and repeat the process until the water running out of the brush is clear and free of makeup. When squeezing the brush, start from the metal ferrule and move upwards toward the tips of the bristles. Once all of the excess water is out of the brush, use a clean towel to gently press the bristles and further remove the water.
• Once the brush is just damp, use your fingers to gently reshape the brush into its original shape. Lay the brush flat in away from heat and direct sunlight to dry.

Note: it's recommended to avoid using alcohol to clean brushes as much as you can; it dries them out and makes them brittle!

Residents of U.S.A. and Canada receive FREE 14-day returns.

Unfortunately at this time we only provide free returns for residents of the U.S. or Canada. International returns outside of the U.S. or Canada are required to pay for their own return shipping fees.
